Getting a good photo of a black cat is a challenge in its self.
If the light is not coming from the right place, the black fur just sucks it all up.
Then you just get a black blob with eyes, ears and a tail.

Well, had something funny happen the other day.
Athena was being a brat and growling at Bella while I was sitting on the floor with her in my arms. Bella was more or less
minding her own business in the other room, and I had sat down where I could see Bella while holding Athena. Xander
walks over to Athena in my lap as she is making noise, and he slaps her. Not real hard, more of the hay silly knock it off.
She just sort of looks at him in a state of disbelief. So I stand up and put Athena on the counter with me and Xander jumps
up onto the cat scratch post that has a perch on the top. She is giving Bella dirty looks and next think I know, Xander slaps
her again, and to top it off, he bites her on the neck. Not hard, still a more of the knock it off thing.

Then tonight, Athena was hanging out in the doorway, with the pocket door only open far enough that everyone but Bella can fit.
Athena is watching Bella out in the kitchen from the door. Athena was being nice and quiet the full time.

So maybe there is some hope for these two ladies to act like ladies and not have hiss and spit fits.
