Went to the vet yesterday to pick up some Rx snacks for the beasts.
It was spical ordered for me and when I got there tome one had sold it.
Needles to say I am a bit miffed and the cats are not happy they are not
getting there after dinner snack. The reason behind it is that the kibble
size is large enough that Bella has to chew it and not just suck them down.
Xander seems to like them really well also. The stuff is Royal Canin DH.

Everyone here is doing well. However the cats are a bit upset with me for going back to work.
They seem to miss me and the snacks I give during the day.

My 10 month old female, Cleo, and I are new to this forum and this is
my first post. I noticed in Hippy’s first pictures those two great looking
Savannahs appear to be wearing fea and tick collars. I have wondered
if that type of protection is generally accepted for this breed. Is there
a downside to their use, except for the obvious of having a collar caught
on something.

Congratz and Welcome aboard savannah cat chat

Pictures are a must

My guys only wear break away collars with bells..
Only be cause it's handy to know where they are before you step..

They are under your feet 50 percent of the time they are out

There are no special considerations for Savannahs when it comes to flea and tick protection. Some cats are more sensitive to the collars than others, but that is not breed specific. Personally I've never had a problem with fleas or ticks but if I did I would probably opt for an oral treatment.

Patti,
I am in an area where ticks are common so I appreciate
your response. I will probably stick with the liquid form.
Thanks, Wayne
