Also Pan is eating like food will disappear is he does not get to it first.
Bella and Athena are still have go rounds. Seems like Athena is starting
some of it by growling at Bella. If I happen to be close by and pet her
or pick her up that ends the growling.

Pan gets along with everyone. He seems to like to camp out on my lap when watching TV.

Well this is the first time I have had a water bed leak. I think from the spot that it was Pan as I had just trimmed Athena's claws.
That is what I get for washing the bedding and not burping the bed before I start the wash. So I got to do the one thing I had been
thinking about doing. Yep a FULL drain and refill. On top of that I get to sleep on the other bed that has a normal mattress.

Pan got his claws trimmed tonight and Athena had already been done on Christmas Day. Both are not too bad to do. Pan is a little less
cooperative in the process than Athena. Xander is easy to trim also. Start when they are young and most times it is easy from then on.
Tetsu was not one that liked his claws trimmed and would put up a fight every time. Bella is impossible. The vet and I tried once to
trim her back claws and almost ended hurting her. So we gave in and let her be. Her former owners had declawed her front end after
she tried to clime up the wife's leg. The good thing is her back claws tend to be nice and smooth without the points.

I personally will not declaw a cat. It's too cruel.

Hope everyone is having a good Christmas and a Happy New Year.

I always figured having a water bed with cats would be a disaster waiting to happen. I'm amazed that it has survived this long! Hopefully keeping the claws trimmed will keep it safe from now on out.
