Well it seems like he opened his mouth and stuck his foot up to the hip joint.

Thanks for posting Sean and as interesting as this started out, he certainly hasn't done our Savannah family any good, all of these so called animal sanctuaries bleating on about dangerous hybrid cats, every day here in the UK I'm hearing in the news about a child/adult being mauled to death and as horribly tragic and heartbreaking this is, it's always a DOG responsible, I have not heard of a single Savannah mauling anyone in the UK.
As for the breeding of servals, and let's face it that without this, none of us would have a Savannah cat regardless of filial generation. Again it all comes down to unscrupulous breeders with no regard to the welfare of their cats, spoiling it for the loving dedicated people out here who do care and always put our cats welfare first.
Who knows if the ban will go ahead in UK, but I wish the governing bodies were given the full facts before they make any uneducated decision.
Perhaps more stringent licensing on the keeping and husbandry of servals is required as to be honest, anyone can build an enclosure and obtain a DWA license but are they experienced and properly educated, the majority are not.
