I really need to buy a camera soon.

I took a couple more, but those will wait till tomorrow evening (assuming I have to go to work, earlier if not).Yeti wants to come after the camera head on so getting side shots has been a chore. Had to hold him with his front legs in the air so he'd stop squirming just long enough for the shot. Will load it onto the laptop tomorrow and get it resized. Then we will see how the pic turned out.
This is where having experience as an acrobat comes in handy. You need to use a wand toy in one hand to distract him while taking pics (and hoping for the best) with the other, while getting at ground level with him (or whatever level he's at) to get a nice clean shot. With experience comes improvement. Ask anyone here - average, out of 100 pics we may get a dozen or so really nice shots...

Another idea is to use a tripod and a remote camera. Another thing that I am going to be doing is using my GOPRO. They will be stuck on the wall or somewhere else and since they won't be moving or any lights or noise they will be doing what ever and I will catch them in the act without even being there.... A lot of ways. Furthermore, if they play with the camera, it won't move and they can't hurt it.

For anyone who wants to play around with this idea checkout HTTP://WWW.GOPRO.COM. I have 2 of them, and they will do a lot more than take pictures. I mounted one on one of my RC planes... Crashed and destroyed the plane, and the camera was still recording during the entire event and still working today without a scratch.

See the video, if the camera can take this, it can take anything a Savannah can trough at it. It is hard to tell, but the plane hit the ground at about 30 MPH.

Yeah, I have a tripod but I could never get the remote to work on my current camera :-( I've seen those GOPROs before, just don't have the $$ to get anything new these days...

I know the feeling... Same here... Glad I have what I have right now, because there is sure no going back and doing it now...

I managed to get Yeti on top of the scratching post in the safe room with good natural lighting. Had to give him a soft knuckle rub so he would stop turning toward the camera.

The spots are still very faint, he is supposed to be a seal lynx, right? Do you have a recent full body pic - face, feet, tail ?
