Yeah, an escape route.

Normally, I would agree. However, the last time I was down there, Holly did not use the always open kitty door to the pool patio. There is quite a bit of play area out there and I have seen her hunt and catch little lizards. She is not the kind of savannah that is always trying to find a way out nor get into everything she can..... like some F1 cats discussed on these boards.......

Did you actually see them commit the crime and if not who all were the witnesses.... We also need to know what you are describing as being Savandalized...

Only 2 adults live in the house. 1 Savannah, 9 months old that insists on walking on counter tops despite being told to get down numerous times each day. 1 Scottish Fold, 9 years old that has never in 9 years been on a counter. He has 5 places in the house, under the bed, under the rocking chair, back of the couch, back of the other couch, under the dining room table. I don't even think he could get up on a counter if he wanted to. Savannah has been seen jumping on countertops, jumping higher than a light switch. When my husband took the vent down to fix it, Savannah attacked the vent again and would not release it. I rest my case.

Are there any Eye Witnesses... Maybe it was an Intruder... I would like to call the Scottish Fold to the stand to ask the question as to if there were any intruders that invaded the property on the said day in question. You are of course assuming that no one could have entered the residence, accomplished this tasked, blamed the Savannah and locked the door on his (or her) way out.... I would speculate that the last person to leave the house for got to lock it and the intruder locked the door upon leaving to remove any suspicions...

Well this is certainly a different case to come before the court. I must recuse myself as I am the brother of the plaintiff.
Mr Campbell, you may request another hearing officer.
Be forewarned, I might be called upon for testimony in this case, and this time I have knowledge of the accused, and I for one have high suspicions the plaintiff can prevail.

The Scottish Fold does not come out for anyone to see. Up until Holly arrived, he would jump on the bed every night for petting and treats. He has not done that since March 30. We left for Vegas on 3/31 to get Holly. He spends his entire day and night in 1 of the 5 indoor locations or out on the patio since Holly does not use the cat door. I don't think Rascaldad has ever seen him up close.

hmmm, thinking you have a Raccoon infestation. They are devious and often disguise themselves as Savannah's, Bengals and an occasional Main Coon. Without real-time video surveillance, one will never now fur sure.

That is very plausible... Raccoon can leave tracks to make them look like a Savannah was there when in fact the Savannah is totally innocent...
