Introducing Holly

Sue

Savannah Super Cat
Since the other 3 cats have arrived, we only had 1 fight. Holly is the smallest in size, and was the most vocal,, hissing and growling at everyone and everything. In less than a week, she realized they are here to stay. Now the 3 youngest chase and play with each other. This coming weekend, I have entered Holly in her first show in Largo, Fl. If anyone is going to the show, stop by and say Hi and meet Holly.

How exciting Sue! When you get your catalogue you will be able to see if there are any other Savannahs entered and can ask the folk that check you in where they are benched so that you can meet them. Please take some pics while you're there to share with us!!!

Last time I went to that cat show, Sophia of Bodhi Savannah's was there with Wilhelm and another breeder was there with only her Bengals.

image.jpeg image.jpeg Day 1 of cat show is over she got 1 and 1 D in all 6 rings. Don't get excited. She did not get any finals. She was the only female altered Savannah adult at the show. She was extremely vocal about not being happy to be picked up. A lot of hissing and howling as I carried her to and from the rings. One judge was from the west coast and did comment that she liked her head shape, placement of ears, tall ears and her coat. I posted a video of her first ring this morning on my Facebook page is anyone wants to see it. Sue Marzonie

She was definitely vocal, but her ears were forward the entire time so I think she sounded worse than she actually felt... (y)

Yes, she would get a 1D, since she was the only savannah in her division :) She should have also had a 1C :)

Females are typically the most difficult to show - I don't bother anymore...hopefully she will calm down today and do much better!

Holly told everyone that she is not a show cat and wanted to go home. After she lunged at a judge she was DQed and we decided to take her home.

Some cats like the attention...some don't. As long as she loves YOU and the family, that is all that is important.

She is very affectionate, greets everyone, head buts me, sleeps on me, she loved the experience of being in a hotel/motel room for 2 nights. She plays fetch, catch, walks on a harness. Showing just was not her thing. We tried, we move on.
