Introducing Savannah Kitten To Other Pets In The House

Thank you :)

They are getting closer and closer everyday but the problem is that as Puss gets closer to our scottish fold girl, she gets away from us. She used to be more intimate with us in the previous days.

Now she always follows her, goes to upstairs and sleep side by side with each other etc.

I'm dying to spend time with her but i don't want to be pushy.

Is it possible that she may chose to bond only with Sis (Scottish)? I'm a little bit worried :not sure:

That is a possibility. You should spend one-on-one time with Puss -- playing with her in a room, just the 2 of you. Hand feed her treats too.

I spent a lot of time playing and hand feeding each of my guys when they were in isolation before introducing them to the other pets. And yet they still bonded with the other cats and forgot about me for awhile but it didn't last long and they came right back to being momma's boys. I do have one F2 that is a cat's cat. He prefers the company of the other SVs over humans but still seeks us out for loving a few times a day. And this is the cat that was in isolation for a month before being introduced to the other 2 because he was ill with giardia and coccidiosis when he arrived home. So I thought he would be really bonded to us and was worried that he wouldn't get along with the other cats.

Thank you Deborah for your explanations. I'm doing my best and seems like we're making progress day by day.

Your cats look lovely by the way :)

Seems like everything is going as it should...cats are very interesting in how they bond and with whom.

I have two kittens here from Zuri's litter of seven - Ixas and Cinny...I raised the kittens myself for the first week of their lives because zuri was ill...but there were seven kittens and they were bonded to each other and their mother and me...one of my kittens would literally cry to be held...

Ixas and Cinny are tightly bonded now and to their mother...they sleep with me and I still pick them up, play with them, hug and kiss them, but they would rather be together...and I'm sure part of it is because all the kittens played together, ate together, etc., and the two I kept stayed together when their siblings left...

Playing one on one is the best advice we can give you..spending even an hour just with Puss will help...

Be safe in Istanbul please ;)

Thank you for the helpful advices Paige :)

I dedicated myself to both one on one playing with Puss and with two of them.

We're doing our best to be safe in Istanbul but unfortunately the government and police's attitudes are not the same with us so far.

We're so happy to see that people all around the world is with us!

Cheers! ;)
