Is you cat a thief?

It's them waiting at the door and and the unpredictable behavior that makes your day!

You said it RD. My cats all have developed their particular spot to be when I open the door to come in.

And as for theft, Yeti stole my pants this morning and dragged them around the house while I was in the shower. I go to get dressed and they were not where I left them. He had dragged them off the bed, down the stairs, and into the dining room where he was wrestling with them.

Yours steals pants, mine is partial to underwear and to t-shirts. I left a drawer open last week, and came home to a trail of underwear out the bedroom, down the hall, and into the guest room. All of it appeared to have been licked.

Who has put some meat out to thaw in the oven and
forgotten that it was in there? Mom put some Pork chops
out that way and then forgot because we went out for dinner.
They were found a few days later because of the smell.

Bella will pack any meat off that she can get to. That is
her 65% side showing up.

Speaking of Bella. I gave her some food today and she was so
in to it that she did not see mom come in. Mom did I don't know
what but it spooked Bella and she went from the counter over my
back as I was leaning down and left me with cat tracks on my back.
We had cat kibble everywhere. It took her about 30 minutes to
clam down. You can tell her mood by the amount of tail fluff.
My back still stings where she dug in for traction. Have to check the
shirt for holes.

Life of a BIG cat owner.

P.S. BTW what do you think of the new Avatar photo I picked?

Uh...I have done that...just ask patti and Pam...we were all at the TICA annual a few years ago and I had brought rabbit for Zuri...when I go to my room, I couldn't find the rabbit and then forgot about it. My Prius was in the parking garage in 90 degree heat or more for two days...my car smelled like someone died when we got it, the parking attendants were gagging and Patti and Pam had to sit in my car...not a pleasant ride

One hiding place I really don't have fun with is when they stuff the booty
in my boots. I have learned to pick them up and shake them to see what
falls out. Bella still has claim to anything in a zip lock bag and all the pepper
plants in the house.

Oh God, I do remember that car ride :p I felt so bad for you...it's something I would have done and surprised I haven't yet....other than hiding a pizza in the oven for safety and forgetting about the leftover slices I planned to eat for lunch the next day, until a few days later I remember..pizza dries out pretty fast and thankfully has no odor!

I have a thief, but it's not a Savannah, but my DSH girl. She steals socks, the soft fuzzy kind. I have more single socks in my drawer waiting for their mates than I have actual pairs. I have been known to wear a mismatched pair to work a time or two. One of these days I will find her stash of sock babies...she pulls them out of the laundry basket and carries them around the house, meowing....drives me crazy when I am trying to sleep!
