Wow, hard to believe that anyplace is five hours away from an airport - now that's remote!

We are right between Chicago and St.Louis. Could take shuttle from smaller airport but we would be doing a lot of sitting as they do not run but once or twice a day and still 1.5 hr drive each way. And a long wait at each airport I'm sure. Oh well,,, we like to drive.

As long as you like to drive! You might consider setting up a crate for the little guy for the trip home with food, water, and a litter box, since it's going to be such a long trip home.

We already thought of that. We have an old carrier that we used to take our Rott, that passed a couple yrs ago, to the vet. It's huge. Plenty of room for litter box and a couple of bowls for kibble and water. We are taking our suv so should have plenty of room.

Got new pics last night! Unbelievable how much he changed in 11 days! I was a little worried that his ears weren't going to be very large but wow have they grown since the last update. Just AMAZING!!!!
