Now we have bed company. Last night about a half hour after lights out,,,,Jax decided to go into sneak mode. Up from the foot of the bed. Between the sheet and comforter. He crawled right up between us and crashed! Spent the whole night there. He still won't let us pick him up but he really likes to be pet and loved on. At least until he decides its time to play again! Lol! Thinking about ending his quarantine tomorrow night. He wants out really bad and our little calico wants in as well. I'm thinking that the sleeping right between us is a good sign that the bonding is far enough along to let him out. It's been three weeks,,,,,what do you think?

If it were me.... I would. But be cautious introducing Jax to the calico.

They have already been nose to nose through the cracked door and no growls or hissing. The plan is to put Jax in the big wire carrier that we brought him home in. We will set it right next to the couch and see what happens. If all goes well, we will let him out after a while under close supervision of course. Will probably put him back in our room that night and let him roam the house first thing in the morning. We'll see how they interact all day Saturday and take it from there.

It sounds like you have a good plan in place for the face-to-face introductions, and I agree, it's time to let him out and explore more of his new world.

Sounds like everything is going great for little Jax. I'm sure the introductions will go well too. Pretty soon you will forget that he was in quarantine at all!
