Lots of breathtaking scenery in Oregon. If you haven't visited Crater Lake yet, I recommend putting it on the list. Walk down the crater, take the boat to Wizard Island, maybe stay at the lodge for a romantic night. We joke that Crater Lake national park has 2 seasons, winter and August. I've been there in July when the temps are in the 80s, the sky is a perfect cloudless blue and there are 30 ft snow drifts.

I drank only red for decades. But I got burned out on red this summer and decided to add a few whites into the mix. Southern Oregon has a booming viticulture and I was intrigued by some of the local whites being produced. We have some lovely Viogniers here. There are two terrific wineries within a 3 minute drive of my house so I feel compelled to support the local economy.;)
Yeah.....supporting the local economy! That is probably high on my list of reasons to live in California.....the wine err I mean local produce. Hiccup.

Della, how's the weather looking. We're having high winds and sideways rain up here. Any potential delays in the little one's flight path today?

Otherwise from what I can see the weather is mild on her route. She's about to leave Atlanta. :)
