Update: I offered some plain turkey canned cat food this morning and he ate a little (about a tablespoon), drank some water and now is interested in his sisters game (pushing a feather stick around) ... He even stood up my leg as his normal greeting. That's the real Makoi. Still of course talking him in but just wanted to note he acted himself a few minutes.

Headed to vet in an hour. Funny note I should mention to the sv owners because maybe you will notice this too. Makoi has never known how to be a jumper like his athletic sister. Took him forever like 6 months to learn how to jump on bathroom counter while we brush our teeth. His sister makiya was doing this in the womb lol. However Makoi just didn't know he could. He doesn't get up on the cupboards either but he watches Makiya like he wishes he could. Our baby F1 is already doing all of it. Could Makoi be upset about this? That they are more advanced with learning and taking chances? He learns the same things but it took him 6-7 months to jump 3.5 feet up and the kitten is already 8 feet up on cupboards. Does that sound silly? I just always feel bad that he isn't a quick one like they are. He can't even figure out how to open a door that isn't latched behind him, all he would have to do is pull gently at the bottom. Makiya rescues him if this happens. Yet he learned to turn lights on and off. Makes no sense.

He has to be gassed to get blood because he doesn't allow them to take it but are afraid to do it with that high of a temp. He won't allow them to check him.
