Be careful giving the peroxide solution to a cat, it is easy for them to aspirate it if struggling and then you could cause even more issues :-(

I think it best done by a vet, but hopefully the vet is close by.

That's the tact I went, Brigitte. I was scared to try to do it myself, and my vet is no more than five minutes away.
