They only make what they call the 'cat' version in freeze dried, but ingredients are same. I like the frozen raw better because Matojo is not patient enough to let the fd rehydrate ;)

This is really good to know...I am so glad we are having this conversation....now I can go to Pet Goods and give it a try. Thanks so much for sharing.

Ok, we have not had a discussion on litter and I think it may be helpful to discuss! So what type of litter do you use and are you happy with it?

I know I am late to the game but better late than never ;) I use Equine Pine pellets from TSC a 40lb bag is $5.99. I lightly mist the top to fluff it up a bit. You can't even tell there's a litter box in the bathroom. Plus it's flushable and biodegradable :)

Thanks Kalikat...I heard about them and am going to try them. I am the queen of trying litter ;)

I tried the TSC Paws and Claws, but it is clay and VERY dusty...the cats like it though. I am going tot ry the Equine Pine and lightly mist as you have done. Is it difficult to remove the poop?

Haven't tried Paws and Claws but EP has very little dust. If you mist it, it's easy to scopp the poop out because it coats it but unmisted is a PITA to clean.

I currently use feline pine and I like the smell there isn't your normal cat box smell.

My only concern is cleaning the box when using it and how much waste there appears to be, but it isn't that expensive.

I am however trying claws and paws today. And whoever suggested this I thank you twice !!! Once for the suggestion on the litter and the second for the suggestion of the Tractor Supply Company ... There is one only a couple of miles from my house. I must have driven by it 1000s of times over the last several years and never paid any mind to it ... I mean I don't own a tractor, so I don't need any supplies for it right? So I never even considered going before ... What a cool store !!! Anyways I will get back to you on my thoughts on the litter paws and claws ...
