Lookin' a little squatty, there, Lotto!

Thank you, Jungleboy! He's a good kitty.... Doesn't chew on shoes or cords, doesn't really destroy anything in the house, plays well, and even cuddles sometimes when he's sleepy, headbutts all the time. He's just so good natured at this age! We love him to death! The only thing I would change about him is his eating preferences. Aside from mango juice, coconut, and caramel (???) he will only ear freeze dried chicken and kibble. He iterally backs away from anything else. So i try to give him more of the chicken than kibble, and we keep him well hydrated.

Paul, Nitro is beautiful AND big! He and Lotto almost look like they have the same body build! I will be looking forward to seeing his pictures as he continues to grow!

I'll bet Xumi and Lotto are a LOT alike, then! I was watching the Dagger videos and frantically trying to point out (to my husband) all the similarities. Um... I think he didn't share the same excitement I did.

I may just be paranoid about Lotto getting chubby. Right now, he's about 8.5 months, 13in tall from foot to shoulder, and 16in long from shoulder to tail. He, too, has a pooch... Although he seems to be fairly solid everywhere else (not to mention 14.5lbs) . He does seem to have grown a little bit in the last 1/2 months.... Just want to make sure it's still ok to feed him his hand full of freeze tried chicken everyday! I guess I was used to him growing like a weed. It just seems to have slowed down some.

Ps - I heard Dagger was a really wonderful boy. It was so moving to see all of his tribute pages. Such a sweet serval! View attachment 5768 View attachment 5767 View attachment 5766
Lotto sounds very similar to Shelby in size, my F3. I measured Shelby 2 weeks ago (turned 8 months yesterday). He was 16" long from where the neck meets the shoulder to the base of his tail, just shy of 13" tall at the shoulder and his chest was 13 1/2" around measured just behind his front legs. He's very leggy and not bulked up yet. He was 10.4 lbs but his skin and fur still have plenty to grow into, it's like a little kid wearing a sweater that's a little too big  It's funny because he's bigger than my other cat (snowshoe siamese) but you can still tell he's a kitten just by looking at his face. I need to update my photo album, he's gotten so much bigger since my last pix were posted!

Lotto is a gorgeous boy! I would definately continue with the treats.

I must say I'm extremely jealous of all that... stuff... on your counters! Xumi would have all of it on the floor in seconds. The other day I had to install a latch on the cabinet in the bathroom where we have to keep our toilet paper. She learned to open the doors.
