Some cats really don't do well at the vet and won't eat there because they are too stressed. The weekend is coming up, do they have staff there all through the weekend? Something to consider, and whether he might do better at home as long as you can get him back to the vet if he is not doing well...

Here it is in a bit more detail.

Mokkun was so very happy to be home.
When we picked him up there was food siting in his dish at the vet. He
DID NOT want to be taken out of the cage. Once I got him out he grabbed
onto me with his claws till he saw I had his crate open and his pad in it.
He jumped in. On the way home he did a lot of talking. The rest of the clan
was happy to see him. He walked around the house and went upstairs and
used the cat box. Minutes later he was down in the kitchen and sniffing empty
food dishes. So I got him some of the new RX diet stuff and put it down for him.
You would of thought that he had been starved for weeks they way he went at it.

The one hard thing tonight is he will have to spend it alone in the bathroom
so I can make sure that he is peeing and not getting it mixed up with the
other cats. I will tell you I did not expect him to Love the new food. But I
felt that he would eat it. He wolfed it. Tetsu took a bite of the left overs.
Sort of soso for him Bella sniffed and walked away FAST. Silly girl.

Just happy he is home.

I hope it continues and the new diet works for him!

It is hard to have to confine him but yes, you do need to know it is him peeing...so important right now!

was do to more urethra inflammation. So 48 hours more.
