Male will only breed with one female

Can you make some more of them? I am absolutely enamoured with their look! I think you retired Spider Monkey; forgive me If I don't have her name right. Is that possible; you know, repeat the formula, hopefully.

I have a funny story to tell. My stud cat, Golden Jade won't breed anyone except his sweetheart, F1 Sita. So I've had 2 cats go into heat since that he wouldn't breed. Now he's spent his whole life with us chasing all the young girls around. Patti suggested that I collect the urine of Sita the favoured one when she's in heat and smarm it on the unfavoured ones to peak his interest. So last night I was up all night to watch if anything was progressing which didn't except that I have a massive migraine today. And then to top it all off, Jolene projectile vomited from the tallest level of the climber down onto me on my makeshift bed below! All over my pillow, face, phone which I was using, purse( now garbage), and anything else in it's path. She had FISH for breaky . YUM!

I can top that story of projectile vomit with a story about my disgusting beagle... eek! I know the horrible feeling :-(

Poor Kelly has kept Spyder Monkey having "one more litter" for so long I think it is too late... much as she and Malakai produced fabulous offspring it wasn't fair to Spyder. You might have to settle for one of the progeny of their progeny...so a son of Dream, Zak or Token...etc.

I was not suggesting another Spyder Monkey breeding, only that she try to replicate what she did in picking those parents. Prehpa Malaki and another Melanistc female. I'd never advocate anyone overbreeding their cats. By the way, what can you do if you're convinced someone's overbreeding certain cat?

Malakai is now with another breeder, Kelly has just retained access to Zak if she needs that "look" now :)

I think there is only so much you can do if your opinion is different from the breeder that owns the cats. You can try to approach that breeder and discuss why they are breeding that cat so often and try to encourage them to give the cat a break...but none of us are the Savannah Police so can't really actually DO anything. And what we personally find acceptable is not necessarily what another breeder thinks is okay...I'm personally not comfortable with breeding more than twice a year and in reality rarely breed more than once a year. But I also know that it is not necessarily unhealthy for cats to breed repeatedly... it's possibly more stressful on a female cat's body to cycle over and over without being bred.

Thanks for the advice. One of my females is 9 months old. Since I picked her up at 3 months her mom has been bred about4 more times. wouln't you say that a bit accessive?

I'm not sure what you mean. Chronologically she couldn't possibly have had four litters in six months even if she was bred the day she delivered a litter, so if she is being bred but not getting pregnant there's no contraindication to breeding her during her next cycle.
