Wow, gorgeous cats! In some of the photos they look to be outside off leash. Do they not run off?!? If I took Kronos off leash I am pretty sure I would never get him back. He is so curious and has no desire to stay near me and always wants to go this way when I am trying to go that way lol.
Do they stay near you naturally, or did you train them to? Maybe it has to do with the generations... the earlier ones bond closer with their people, so perhaps their desire to be with you even when outdoors is stronger than Kronos'.

In some without are more recent ones. As kitten they were never let off. We have about 3 acres and live on a hill so our guys favorite game is sprint up the hill climb the tree then run down and repeat. If you asked Whip he'd complain were to slow so we just let them run. We have a whistle we do that means food, they come right to us when called and we give prompt steak or some other treat. But that free play we keep in eye sight.
We also have 2 25ft leads tied in for when we wash cars, grill or whatever and they wanna lounge outside with us.
