Aprilann, that's heartbreaking. As I read this, my little Shelby is sleeping with his head on my hip as he's curled up in a ball. I know that Tank must bring you the exact same feelings of happiness. I pray for the two of you. That was wonderful expression of your feelings, though I wish you never had to pen them, thank you for sharing it with us. I'm sorry you have to go through this. I'm terribly sorry for what you are going through, your description hit close to my heart because the way you described the day you picked up your kitten pretty much matches my experience two days ago at the airport. You both will be in my thoughts.

Thank you all very much!!! It means more than you to know to hear that people out there understand. Most of my colleagues just brush it off like "pfft it's just a cat." I guess if my love for my cat makes me a cat lady then I will wear that title with pride.

Unfortunately my baby is getting progressively worse and in an hour he will be in a better place and out of pain.
