My Savannah needs a buddy

mark, I have several kitten owners who have ragdolls and they do not appreciate the exuberance and persistence of the savannah kittens...luckily they have either another high energy cat or dog, so it is ok...the selkirk would probably be a better fit...or maybe an aby...or OS...or even a later gen savannah?

Thanks for all the replies, I found a Selkirk breeder that will have kittens in march. I think I will go with that.

Quite a few Sv people now have Selkirks, although I'm claiming to be the original one My Selkirk was good with all of my Savannahs except my moody, hormonal f1 girls.

Still looking for a play friend for simba and a life savoir for mocha (lol)
I think I've narrowed it down to two breeds.
1. Selkirk
2. Main Coone

Any thoughts or opinions would be greatly appreciated.

Only caution is to make sure that the Maine Coone breeder tests for HCM. I'm not familiar with the Selkirk so don't know if the breed has the same cardiac issue.

Maine Coons do great with Savannahs! There are probably several MC breeders in CA, you can probably Google it to find them.
