I've owned 5 cats at one time before but that was years ago. But none of them were purebreeds. They were rescues off the streets.Yeah, keep telling yourself that!!!

Me non Savannah cat, is a street rescue cat. She is the oldest of the five, the smallest, and the true alpha. All bough to the Ice Queen!!!
I have 2 F3's & twin F2's. They are not considered purebred, classified as foundation breed.
Purebred Savannahs don't happen till F5 generation and higher. Both parents and grandparents have to have Savannah genes to be considered a purebred

It's actually F4 SBT and later considered "purebred". Needs to be 3 generations of SV to SV breeding behind them, and the first generation that can happen is F4. I maybe have a stupid question. But in wich F's are there black savannahs?
I think they are verry special, but i've never seen one fully grown. I'm really curious of what he will look like when he is older. Does someone here has pictures of an 'adult' black savannah? And are there black F1's or F2 savannahs?

There are Melanistic (Black) F2's , but not F1's as both parents need to carry for that gene and apparently there aren't any servals in breeding programs that carry the gene for Mel. There are several members here that have Mels so I'm sure they will post some pics to satisfy your curiosity!!
