Dino's definitely frustrated, not able to play with his brother and also having to fend him off when he's not feeling well.

Dino taking refuge in the crate, while watching Dooley beat up the Roomba without him.

So very glad he had a better day after a scary night. Hopefully the solution is the elimination of semi-large bones. Thoughts and prayers with you and Trish!

Thanks!

First really nice spring day and we had to keep the windows closed up in case it's allergy related. The bone thing could be a contributing factor, just don't know .

Big thing is I think he'll make it through the evening without an episode which means I can finally get some rest.

Two more episodes both early morning. When I hear him try to expel what ever's bothering him it sounds like it's from his throat, not his chest.

He did take a king size dump this morning and I noticed what appeared to be a mass of mucous. I thought it might have been some batting they had pulled from a toy but it appeared to have normal mass behind it. As it looked like a pretty normal stool for anyone but Dino. I tried to see if there was any solid media in there or a disguised chunk of calcium.

What I found is what I believe to be a couple pieces of orchid bark potting media. Certainly not the first time he's crunched on those. I'm also guessing that chunks of bark don't appear to be much different than masses of partially digested bone.

Anyway, I'm a bit pissed at myself for letting them dissuade me from scoping him. Now to figure out if I can find someone competent to take care of this on a Sunday.
