How are Dooley and Dino?

Thanks for asking!

Dino is just the sweetest boy ever and it makes me laugh when I hear anything about stereotyping the different generations. I can literally drape him over my neck and shoulders and he's content to just hang out and ride around.

Dooley on the other hand is still in the wrecking ball state, and I'm hoping to see some improvement soon.

They are f1 brothers from different litters, same parents. Dino is 15 months old and Dooley is 6 months old. Not sure that I've ever seen two cats so fond of one another.

This morning Dooley was doing well enough that I couldn't get him to slow down and hit the litter box. The urine balls I removed were still somewhat salmon colored so I don't believe we are out of the woods yet.

He really doesn't like the taste of the Orbifloxacin so I give him a water chaser right afterwards. We'll see how he is doing, this evening and perhaps I'll have better luck getting a urine sample this evening.

I'm happy to report that I have a clean urine sample, no blood and not dark from the Doxycycline from Dooley. So Tuesday will complete the Orbifloxacin, and I'll have two healthy kittens again!

Definitely pretty relieved and I'll need to start working on repairing our relationship since I'll no longer need to be the evil pill giving, water squirting and yucky medicine guy. How I let Trish skate on being the bad guy with such matters baffles me.

Since you already had a loving trusting relationship established, I doubt it will take more than a day for them to forget all about the meds. Animals usually don't hang onto stuff like humans tend to do.

All good, and we had our first full blown romp with da-bird in 6 weeks. Dino is still getting above the 7' mark and Dooley is getting his big butt up around chest high. Definitely elated to be back to normal activities, and glad everything is finally wrapped up.
