Great to hear she's doing better, I'm so glad things are settling down with her. How is Oliver doing?

Thanks Deb (and everyone). I know that what is happening with me is nothing compared to so many other people's sick pets, but it is hard to stay positive sometimes.
Uh, when it happens to YOUR baby, it is indeed the worst thing in the world!

Perhaps an ode to Zeddie's digestive track will get her securely over the hump, or pile as it were...
I'm Zeddie
I'm ready
To do a super poop
My intestines are a-gurgling
I feel the urge to squat
I think I shall go and visit my pooping spot
I'm Zeddie and I'm ready
to be a regular girl

(Sorry, but it's the best I can do after 2 beers)

Your ode to Zeddie poop worked Deb! Found a gold mine in the litter box. It is ridiculous how happy I am getting about poop.....I don't think even human mamas get like this about poop :roflmao:

I have to share that on Facebook hahahah I am dying

LOL!! Your ode to poop is working too well...she is going again!!

@Patti Olivher is doing great! Much better than before she got sick. Towelling her for meds sucks, and I am the only one brave enough to do it so I get the brunt of her anger...but she is healthy so I am happy. The colour on her feathers is just stunning! I will have to upload a picture tomorrow....her blue is unlike anything I've ever seen.

Oooh - I am sooo excited for you and Zeddie's poop!!! The dam has busted!!! I never realized what power was in the poetry of Witchy Woman - it is amazing!!!! :roflmao:

I would love to see a pic of Oliver - oops, or is it Olivia? Now I'm confused! At any rate, I'm glad she's doing better as well! I can envision your struggles at medicating her - hope that doesn't have to go on for too long!

Yeah @WitchyWoman must have waved her magic wand :p

Well...its been too long to just change the name, so we are going with Olivher hahaha. Unfortunately it looks like she will have to get calcium force fed daily long term, but I am hopeful we will be able to find high calcium dietary solutions. She will be coming off the other meds before too long. The calcium is the one she hates the most though :(
