Has Zeddie ever had a fecal PCR done?
I had fecals sent in, but I don't think they did a full PCR before. The results came in today, and it came back positive with coronavirus (which the vet said is found in a lot of cats and means nothing) and another thing that is common in cats with diarrhea, that the metronidazole will clear up. Unfortunately it does not rule out IBD.

WitchyWoman How was Juba (?? Is it Juba?) diagnosed?
I picked up a can of Wellness that has chicken chunks and gravy, and she ate almost the whole can. They can come home tomorrow as long as they are eating/drinking well.
I offered her tuna water, which she drank, but she wouldn't eat the tuna. But I might try the tuna coconut water mix, although she is so finicky that she might turn her nose up at the coconut water. Baby food is a good idea too. I don't think we have Beech-nut though, although I could be mistaken.
She will be put in QT in my room for a bit, where I can control her environment better. The vet wants to put her on prednisone, and go ahead with the exploratory. I asked for a week to look for other options because I detest prednisone and am terrified of the surgery. A diagnosis would be great....but what if there isn't one? Then she would go through all of that pain for nothing. I miss her so, so terribly. I snuggled her lots today at the vet. They at least gave her the biggest cage available, but she has pretty much the entire clinic hating her because of her voice

I don't think it helps when I keep questioning the medications and procedure they want to do.
