Savannah Super Cat
Sorry Everybody I am a little out of it today
. So in answer to follow up questions, They did a full blood panel I only posted the abnormal results, chemistrys all looked great. The ER vet said that her particular lymphocytes elevations were unusual, and so they followed up with a blood smear under a microscope just to confirm. It is not a typical "ear infection" elevation profile in his opinion, and looks like it could be something more serious. I'm not sure if there are just differences in Savannah cats in terms of their immune responses. She seems fine today wanted to play and ate although her play was not as exuberant as usual (less running). No dizzy spells, the last one was at 11:59 last night and lasted for 2 minutes. All of her "lookouts" have been taken down except the fridge for obvious reasons. Zahra's regular vet is in surgery all morning so we are just hanging out today, and she seems thrilled to have mom home. The vet did a thorough ear inspection last night and found no evidence of an outer ear infection and said nothing about her temperature, but I am still thinking its an inner ear infection to be honest First because she was restless and randomly vocalizing all day Sunday to the point that I asked her what was wrong (she did not say
. She was not behaving as though she was in pain just like she was anxious, but maybe there is ear pain. Second when she was not dizzy she was shaking her head like she had an itch she couldn't scratch. She started this last night. I just want to talk to her regular doctor more than anything else.....
