NEUTICLES: Yes or No?

When my DSH Simba was neutered, apparently the vet left his balls. They were the source of many laughs. But when he had PU surgery for crystals, the vet seemed mad that the previous vet left his balls. She removed them. Since Simba was going through a hell of a lot at the time, he probably didn't care anyway, but I always felt sad for him that she did that.

Dante is here next to me, but frankly he is too hairy for me to see what was done to him. Duma seems to be in hiding, maybe he's afraid of what I'll find? What is normal? That's all I'm curious about.

It's normal for them to be neutered and for the sac to shrivel up so there's not really anything left to 'see'.

I guess in Simba's case they never shriveled up? They were pretty big, just not as big as the sphinx in the video, but he certainly woulda been a contender :D

I guess it's a guy thing. Aesthetically, I like the smooth, no wrinkly low hanging fruit look. From the cat's point of view, it's a non issue. I vote "no."
