) Just looking at the latch on that collar... Be careful... that does not look like one he could break away from if he gets hung up somewhere.
Waiting for him to arrive was the hardest part! Hoping time flies by for you
Surly you Jest... When Elsa arrived, it took forever... That 1 1/2 hour flight seemed like weeks... When I was watching her on approach (and I know airplanes well) that was the LONGEST APPROACH I had ever seen... At least it felt that way.

Test it... See how easy you can pull it apart with out From the picture that I looked at it looked like a locking type tab...
This type will not breakaway, and is what it looked like in the pictures.
Note this latch pulls out real easy... If they get hung up on something, this will separate.
Doing a little cropping on your image this is what makes me think it is not a breakaway..
Hope this helps... I would sure feel bad if I noticed that and did not say something and he hurt or worse yet the unthinkable...
Agreed! It's really important that a cat's collar is designed to break away under pressure... as cats (especially Savannahs) tend to make crazy jumps and have the potential to fall and possibly hang themselves if that collar catches... yikes!
Wow! So even though it said breakaway, it is not? Looks like I"ll be on the lookout for some cute new collars for them
Sorry to be the bearer of band news.. Easier to say Sorry now, than Sorry I wish I had told you so... Take a closer look at it and see if a gentle pull will pull it apart, if not.. then get another one for her sake.
