Hearing a guy getting giddy over dreaming of headbutts makes me giggle! My boyfriend refuses to admit how much he "loves" our savannah boy. When we are all in the office, Keljin will be sleeping on his own chair and I see my boyfriend get up to pet him and let him headbutt and greet him when he enters the room. I know he secretly does, but he won't openly admit it. I am glad to hear you are sooo excited and preparing so much Paul! It will be a blast!

Hahaha, Breanna I think I am part Savannah anyways. When my wife and I were first going out I used to give her little playful headbutts (and still do). I never realized it was so much out of love though.
Yes, I can't wait to hopefully get that first headbutt from him tomorrow when we get home. The sad thing is, I have to go pick him up at the airport (about 45 minutes away) after work at 6:00PM after work, come home, then I have to go back out to the airport again at 10:50 to pick my wife up coming back from LA. That's ok though, at least she gets to be home to see him the same night.I finished his isolation room last night.
Gave him about 6-7 toys to bat around, a cardboard box, a small cat tree and a few paper bags with holes for him to run through. I should be getting his litter box, food bowls, harness and retractable leash today too. I love Amazon Prime and the free 2 day shipping! LOL!

If I got a Savannah I'd sleep In the bathroom with it so I can form a strong bond with it all you need is your kitten items a mattress & small radio for yourself & I think kittens would respond to music I'd go classical as that might tend to relax them better than rock music.

I wish I knew that before I got my cats at 6 weeks now their 8 years old after doing so much research on the Savannah Cat now I know that when it comes to buying another cat In the future I won't get a kitten any younger than 12 weeks old, We can't have Savannah's here In Australia but we are able to own Bengal cats so I'll apply the same methods I have suggested In my first post.
