New To Owning Cats (let alone a savannah)

Perhaps if my younger cousins bring some to the beach on the family vacation, which is a distinct possibility with all the advertising surrounding the product. They are definitely still young enough to be quantity purchasers of alcohol, despite always shaking a glass in front of me and asking me to make them a cocktail. I guess that's my calling on vacation, to be their Sushi Chef and Bartender.
Well, heck, you'll have to pop by next time you are in our neck of the woods!

does anyone know of a good website or book that tells you how to train a cat properly? all of this is so new to me and my savannah is definitly proving to be high maintence, lol. I need to get started training him properly before i give him bad habits.
I bought a copy of Marilyn Krieger's Naughty No More: Change Unwanted Behaviors through Positive Reinforcement which teaches how to clicker train cats. I also bought a bag of clickers on Amazon. Truth be told, I haven't had the patience or discipline to work with my 3 SVs as much as I should. However, whenever I began the training, I was surprised at how quickly the cats became engaged in it. They seemed to actually enjoy the mental stimulation. I was bored silly. So the book sits on the shelf and the clickers have become toys for the boyz. It is a good book, though, and if you have the patience to stick with the training, I recommend using it.
