I would AVOID blue buffalo. They have had many recalls due to sick or dead pets.

We make our own homemade raw so we know exactly what is in it. We also use Acana kibble.

Good to know! It's been a wild since I purchased Blue Buffalo. My dog is doing really good on Wellness brand. Care to share your raw recipe?

This is the recipe we use. Our kitties are spoiled so we use half bone-in chicken thighs and half while rabbit. We use a Weston 22 for our grinder.

What a lovely cat. Most certainly Savannah. I'm currently feeding my gang, Wysong Epigen 90 dry, and Wild Callings wet, mixed in twice a day. Very High protein and natural ingredients. I do a wet mix for the kittens, my 5 year olds are stickily dry with an occasional wet mix treat.

Ya know, reading the challenges this cat had, I wonder if the original owner did not know Savannahs hiss, and it's not necessarily a bad thing. Sometimes they just do it for the hell of it.

Kind of funny, my boy Rufio HISSED at me fur 3 days, constantly. He just didn't like the change!! Sis Tink was the furst to make bonding contact. After the HISS settled, Baby boy Rufio is the most lover dover boy ever. Voicing displeasure doesn't mean they are hissed at you, just hissed.!! or something like that.??

Thanks so much for the reply! I was out looking at different raw foods and really like Natures Variety chicken formula.. They also have a good rabbit grain free dry.. I have a few days to decide. This poor baby has been eating whatever is donated to the foster home.. Crappy stuff unfortunately. I will absoluty look at Wysong and Wild Calling

I know I'll have some challenges but there's never been a cat I couldn't tame!! They just need love, patience and TIME!!
