Not sure we got the Cat we Purchased

Curious to see how this all turns out. I'd be ticked, but I also know that I would have fallen in love with the kitten and could never give it up.

Just an update, I spoke with the breeder over a few weeks and they had on record that he was fixed and chipped and show the vet had billed them for that, however it was not done. They say that based on his spot pattern he is the same cat we picked out and have sent us a cheque for the cost of neuter, and for a chip and registration fee. They beleive it was a mix up at the vet's end. I wish there was a bit more quality control before sending him to us to make sure those procedures were done, that could have avoided 2 months of a stressful home environment, but what can ya do.

Spence is doing so well, and it is so great to have him neutered! His loving personality without all that testosterone! Him and Asia still have the occasional cat battle but he has not mounted Asia once since he has been fixed! Asia is back to her old self too which is great :)

When we receive the cheque we will be sending him in to get his microchip.

So strange story.
For the microship, sometimes it gets out minutes later. It happened to one of my cat. I was still at the vet and found the chip on the table.
For the cat not being fixed, I find it very strange.

I though it was strange too, BOTH procedures were not done on the cat yet their vet says they were and billed them for it. That is why i assumed there was a cat mix up, but they don't seem to think so..

I am just so glad it is resolved the unwanted, unneutered male behavior is gone! I cannot imagine living with an unneutered male cat, it was unbearable.

Thanks so much for the update! A rather bizarre story, but at least it has a happy ending!
