Yup, ya gotta laugh at the stuff they do. She ought to keep a video camera at the ready 24/7 so not to miss anything.
Let me tell a little more about this story. She came home from work, looked around the corner into the dining room, and there was the cat swinging from the chandelier, smiling. The cat, being smart, dropped down and acted like nothing happened. This is a cat who will knock anything off anything elevated, because he can. This cat makes Mayhem look like a saint.
I'm a Glenmorangie 18 fan. It helps. Really.

Well, until you have a savannah that can stand up at the counter and reach his paw all the way to the backsplash to get whatever he wants, you haven't seen anything! And technically he's not on the counter, so what can I say?
This is what scares me when you get a SV kitten. You don't know for sure if this will happen to you.

John,

Does that really work?

No, it doesn't work at all.

The three phrases spoke most often in our household.

1. "Jester get down", now replaced by "Chongo get down".

2. "Get your own Jeep" which applies to me for putting bigger tires, new bumpers or doing something else to Trish's Jeep.

3. "Really" which can apply to either of the above phrases or the resultant carnage left over from a days entertainment.

You're not getting this are you?
People do not train Savannahs.
Savannahs train people.

You're telling me!
My brain gets tired just trying to figure out how to defeat old Louie, but most of the time I just make like Mahatma Gandhi.

Reading these comments is making me laugh while behind me I hear rattle, bang BANG, clang as my 3 go through their morning crazies.

Most oft heard in my house:

HELP (DH is forever being defeated by SV intellect and they gang up on him unmercifully)
Oh no....
How in the hell!?

I've never had a cat hanging from the chandelier but I did find I chicken hanging in the dining room chandelier a few weeks ago. Maliik got very excited over his breakfast and ran through the house tossing the chicken in the air and it got tangled in the wire chandelier. I found him sitting on the dining room table swaying back and forth trying to figure out the best angle to jump up to dislodge the chicken just in the nick of time to prevent a disaster.

LOL! You guys are killing me! I'm telling you, when Mayhem made it to the top of the open door, jumping from a dresser, I was blown away. I still remember laughing hysterically when my daughter in law called to say her savannah Raiden was swinging from the chandelier.
John, This will look familiar soon! (Mayhem, of course!)
My first F2 girl's "party trick" was to stand by an open door when we had guests and jump to the top of that door in one leap...she seemed to love the ooohs and ahhhs she got ;-)

Our very high Victorian ceilings have so far kept our chandeliers safe... although I say "so far" as I like to say that or "yet" for anything...you just never know what they will get up to tomorrow! LOL!

When we were replacing some of the fixtures last year, the electrician was hanging them and asking what height and most definitely some thought went into how low was "safe" versus how high looked ridiculous.

Whew!
Today was a tough day.
Spent four hours putting everything back in their normal places in the house after having been piled on the kitchen counters to "protect" them over the course of the last 4 weeks. Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha. Now, where did I leave that bottle of Johnny Walker Black........no matter, here's another one.
DOWN Louie!!!!! Say, where'd you put the dish towel and kitchen sponge? No, you can't find any rodents by sticking your entire foreleg into the garbage disposal in the sink.
Gooooooooooooooood boyyyyyyyy.
