Well, they pulled my comment off of Facebook when I chuckled about concerns over having a new surface that would be too rough and cats might end up with raw paws from running on it. Of course I then remembered all the barn cats I've seen with bloodied and bandaged paws.

What are the primary complaints?
I certainly have my reservations, while at the same time feel confident that I can address some of the things I believe to be shortcomings.

One is how hard it can be to assemble. Recommendations include letting it warm to room temp, using a block of wood and/or a rubber mallet, have two people, and line up the track pieces with the centerline of the track piece lines up with the seam of the ring pieces. And also make sure when installing the second ring the seams of that ring line up with the center of the track pieces. And space the pads by 1/8".
One comment about it not rolling as smooth as they expected, but they also said that they got their cat chasing a laser on it already and that it looks like it's working out.
