I'm so sorry John. It sounds like Kebu enriched your life as much as you enriched his. I know he will be sorely missed.

I am so sorry, John. He was a special guy, you made that very apparent in your stories! It is a funny thing how you feel as if you have gotten to know not just people, but their cats too over this board. That is the case for you and your kitties; my heart just dropped when I read your news. We understand how much love we feel for all of our kittes... spotted or not. As a result, we also understand just how much a loss hurts. Even though it is "virtual", I dont think I am on an island when I tell you we are here for you as a shoulder to cry on, or to "listen" to stories in honor of Kebu. I am sending you, your family (2 and 4 legged) hugs and prayers.

I am so sorry for your loss John. I know he was a very special boy. As you know, as time goes by it hurts less. Think about the good times and try to think about and talk about the good times. When we lost our precious boy Simba a few months ago, instead of not talking about it so much at home, I made a concerted effort to say something positive, funny and uplifting about him every night at the dinner table. To talk about the good times and all the fun times we had with him was very therapeutic for us…

Our prayers are with you.

Sorry for your loss John. It's very hard to lose any family member. We've all been there and feel your pain. Hug Chongo. It will help.

John, I am so so sorry for your loss.

We had to put Lacey, my husband's parents' dog, down last night at the far too young age of 7 (his parents are in Greece). Right there hurting with you.

Mike cuddled with our little Mickey all night. I hope Chongo is bringing you the same kind of comfort as our boys are trying to bring to Mike.

John, sorry to hear about your loss. You will experience grief like you would if it were a human relative who passed. What has helped me is write an obituary for him even just for yourself (I find great comfort in putting things on paper) and then having a Memorial service either by yourself or with others. This has helped bring me closure and begin the healing process. You are in my thoughts and prayers.
