Welcome home! Glad your trip was a good time, and you arrived there and back safe and sound.

I need some advice guys. They are leveling the yard next door and the noise is terrifying the kitty :( he immediately came out when Shane and I went in his room which was awesome! But now I'm sitting in here and anytime the noise gets close he hides. I'm watching tv on my laptop hoping the noise will kinda distract him from the scary noise.. I feel so bad because last night he started to look so relaxed. He never hid last night... I will leave a radio in here anytime I'm not now. He had one at the breeders so hopefully that helps!

If you are able to be in the room with him and show him you are relaxed, he will eventually tune it out. He has just arrived and the world is new to him. He is reacting instinctively. It's a learned process to override the fear. If you can't, try to find the quietest place in the house for him until this is over.

I will be chillin in here all day! They should be done soon and hopefully there won't be much more loud stuff. The house is almost done next door thankfully. He's such a sweetie pie! I can't wait until he can have free reign of the house and meet the other pets :) not until quarantine is over though. I'm making sure I do my best to do it all right with him!

More playtime! And he rubbed up against me for the first time and I got it on camera!!!

He growls a lot. It doesn't seem like an angry growl just making noise? It's really stinkin cute!!

Aww. You and he are connecting. He is really exploring. Looking at everything..then coming to you for love.. then exploring more.. then playing.. then....
He is sweet! Happy for you Samantha. :)

I can't imagine any Lequoia cat being non-verbal. Christina babies are spicy/sweet so I'm thinking that the more comfortable he becomes, the more and varied vocalizations you're going to hear.

He has meowed a handful of times right when I enter the room like he's greeting me! It's like a short little chirp. Super cute!

He IS greeting you. They meow ONLY for us humans. NOT for each other. They know we make noise to talk to communicate with each other, so they make noise too. At least that is what I have read.
