In a previous life before Brigitte McMinn took over the SavannahCat.com calendar we used to have photo contests to vote on which pics to use. One year we used a web based polling site which worked pretty well. If you're unable to set up the polls here maybe that would be an alternative option.

yes, i was thinking about that...Eventually I can set up polls as soon as I straighten out the coding issue. problem is that if I rewrite the polling code, then every post has a poll on it, which is the way the software was originally designed I did not like that aspect, so rewrote the code to exclude it.

I am excited about the calendar! And great idea about donating the proceeds, it will be a good way to not only do something fun, but for a good cause.

Thanks Alisha! I think we should use the themes we have already started...We have January through March right now, correct?

That's how the svbs.org site is setup, but the polling option is really not very noticeable unless you actually use it, so it might not be such a bad thing. Or is it possible for you to set up a forum just for the polls and only have the poll coding in that section?
