I have to agree with all of the above - many times you will just know once you are able to see the kittens - even in pics this happens. However, you can certainly ask the breeder for pics of the previous litter when they were kittens, nothing wrong with that at all, that way you might be able to gauge how these little ones will turn out.
For my very first Savannah I waited almost a year for the F1 litter to be born from the pairing I wanted. There were five kittens in the litter. As soon as I saw the pic of the wee ones my heart skipped a beat when I saw 'the one'. I said an expletive and asked my son (12 years old at the time) to pick - he chose the same kitten. At that point I knew it was the one. Problem was, it was a girl and all I was looking for was a pet... and so began my adventure delving into the realm of breeding...

...& had to have it. Now he is my alarm clock, for waking @ 2am, for getting midnight snacks, for just yowling at me occasionally....you say you have pick of the litter but if you're not liking that litter ask about the next one...
