Poor Amara

I’m amazed she managed to throw that up, and without hurting herself!
Note attached photo. This was removed from Arya's stomach on 2/15/19. It was stuck in her duodenum. Vet was able to push it back into the stomach and able to use a lower risk surgical procedure.
I have now idea why she ate it. It damn near killed her.

That's about the size of what amara threw up looked like a whole mouse. Outside was tangled hair inside was junk. The ultra sound just showed a hairball. Darn kids eating garbage.

The object was actually the outer casing of a mouse toy which had a plastic inner skeleton.
One thing I would like to point out. X-ray did not reveal this mass in the intestine. It was the ultra sound that found it and pinpointed it.
And on this kitten, I had purchased health insurance. It was a covered claim.
