Everyone has made great suggestions:
Have the vet check for a UTI
Larger boxes
More frequent cleaning
Uncovered boxes
Cat attract urine
Change her environment so there are fewer, or no other cats
The one thing I'll add that hasn't been suggested yet is plain paper - don't shred it, just lay it in the bottom of the litterbox and see what happens. I hope with all these suggestions you find the one(s) that fix the problem for her!!

The only thing I would add to all the great advice you've already gotten...is what have you used to clean up the places she is peeing? It's important not to use bleach (you may think you are disinfecting it but the smell can actually attract some cats to pee there) but also using a really good quality enzyme cleaner to completely clean the area...especially if it is carpet, you need to get the enzymes right down into the underlay. www.antiickypoo.com has an injector system that helps with that. If she's peeing down the air vent, you need to try to clean all the way down...if the air coming up smells at all of urine she is going to keep doing it! Their noses are way more sensitive than ours, and any trace of urine smell and they will re-mark that area...

The other thing is...I thought you were moving a while ago as I remember you were having issues then...may be time to move and take Zara with you...after you do everything else suggested here, of course.

Thanks everyone your answers have been great.
She does not have a UTI i already got that checked out.
She has 2 30 gal cat boxes.
We use anti icky poo to clean up all the messes.
I do clean the cat boxes every day. I will try out the cat attract litter.

If you are ever pulling out more than 3 urine balls you aren't cleaning the litter box frequently enough. Daily cleaning isn't enough when you are having issues.

The only litter youhaven't mentioned is clay. Try the clay litter and see what happens. If she was using the litter box and then stopped I will have to say...there is either a medical issue going on or a preference of litter;>)
