Also, iOS 7 has an accessibility feature called Guided Access. This will allow you to lock the iPad to a single app, and even a single mode of an app. Essential for iPad games. Otherwise the cats keep jumping out if the game and then looking at you to fix it!

Shoot, I am not totally sure where I got the monkey but I am thinking Petsmart and it might be a Martha Stewart toy! All I know is it is Dino's favorite and he never wanted to share that particular toy with the other kittens. It was his and his alone! He can be quite the stinker. So glad to hear he just settled right in.

Dino had his first vet appointment yesterday. All good and a just a little loose stool issue that will hopefully remedy itself with settling in and switching to raw. Nothing the vet was overly concerned with. He definitely was a super trooper bursting out of the carrier and wooing all the staff. The vet made him a little tape ball as she always does and game on until we left.
While having Dino in our lives brings brighter new days ahead, the trip to the vet was also to pick up the remains of our lost cats. It was especially tough seeing Chongo's paw print and knowing how he liked stomping around outside on each visit. Having lost 5 cats inside of 2 years is definitely a heavy lift and just glad I had Dino there to remind me to smile.
