John, I am so sorry.
No matter how young or old they are when we lose them, we never stop missing them.
I am so glad you have Dino with you now, and I would like to think Chongo and Monte and our other two babies are out there sending him instructions to give you lots of love, lots of head buts, and get into lots of trouble.

Agree 100%, My Dog I lost 12 years ago, I still miss him and every time I see a dog that looks similar to him so many memories come back.. But with Jake he helps me through in ways I never thought possible... Loosing Sylvester last year was much the same, and I still wonder if there is something that I could have done even though the vets said there was not... Elsa and Her love have really saved me from going crazy, and when I need a hug, but little fur buddies know it and are always by my side... (and ladies forgive me for saying this) they stood by me when my ExWife did not.... These little characters have healing powers like none other.. I think Dino will be the best Medicine Doctor that there is...

Now the way I see it you have 2 choices.... 1.) Sew the ears back on that Monkey, or 2.) order a new one that you found on Chewy.Com.... That will be some good medicine, and cheaper too.

Yep, Trish and I stayed up playing with Dino until 2:30AM. He wasn't ready to sleep but we called it quits. So I slept in the bed with him and sure enough he starts tearing around like an idiot at 4:30AM. I pulled the blankets up over my head for some rudimentary protection and he blanket dived and serval pounced until I surrendered at 8AM.

Of course none of this means he's hungry or ever wanting of a nap, as he turned up his nose at his breakfast and any efforts to get him to lie down.

I kept thinking I never had this issue with Monte or Chongo, but then recalled they weren't in a bed during their first two weeks.

Anyway, I'm sure we're not to far away from getting the sleep schedule sorted out and just need to make sure he's occupied all day.

John I am so glad that your "Savannah Servantee Training" is going so well. Why did you quit playing so soon... If you had played with him til 4:30 you may have gotten at least until 6:30 before he woke you up...

When Atticus still wants to play and I'm tuckered out, I lay on the floor with a toy in each hand and flick the toy so he jumps over me and I don't have to do anything but move my wrists:roflmao: It's the lazy person's method. After few minutes of vaulting over me, he's winded and ready for a rest. Sometimes we both stay on the floor for a nap. He is very good at reminding me that I'm getting old…..

WOW, Witchy.... I had no idea that you were that OLD and that far over the hill...:rolleyes::rolleyes::down::down:

Of course the plan is to get a second, it always seems like a logical fallacy but two of them reduces the amount of trouble they can get in. Also takes some of the heat off the servants for providing round the clock entertainment.

Thanks for that oh Great Emporor of Sleep Deprivation!

This humble servant of the 4lb Dark Overlord is very happy he has been granted two hours of sleep.

Wish I could have been posting more, just having some issues getting the diet sorted out. Along the way our dear boy decided he only wanted cooked chicken and was going to give us the universal I am burying that swill you're trying to feed me as if it were poop. Not sure where I went wrong, didn't make an abrupt change and there were things he was eating when he left the breeder that caused him to turn his nose.

Anyway, all good now and putting some weight on. Starting the diet transition over again and he's more robustly eating again. Back to the loud purring and chirping and his coat fluffed up. He goes in for a follow up with the vet today to get his booster and I'm certain that his little detour off the perfect road of health is just mirroring his servants frustrations of him fussing about his food.

Here's a quick shot of him in his room. He is still probably a week away from having whole house privileges, which is more on us than him. Just not our home and want to make sure I don't have another incident like I did earlier when he managed to get behind a wall.
