Nice! Wish I would have got to meet Sir Lord Atticus when we picked up Dino.

As much trouble as I have sorting out pictures of their youth, I trust that's Dino on the left and Atticus on the right.

BTW, Dino had a great time in the bathroom sink yesterday. just loved watching the water drip and the more it got turned up the more fun he had. A good 15 minutes which is longer than anything else he's become fixated on and left soaking wet.

Dino bloodied my nose last evening, not with tooth or claw but with his head. He was chasing a feather wand while I was laying on the floor with him and after having abruptly pulled it behind me Dino attempted to dive through my face. It was a hard enough hit I fully expected him to be shaking it off and I nearly immediately could taste blood. He didn't miss a beat, but sure enough I had a nose bled for the next 10 minutes.

We've also been taking some jaunts on the porch and backyard. He readily wants down and has taken to some pretty basic exploring. Certainly not at any kind of speed, but totally comfortable in a walking jacket. He met a small snake, lots of birds, a squirrel and the boy next door who rubbed his head. He also spent a lot of time sniffing through the rocks of where the chipmunks hide out. Dino finally had enough after watching a dozen or so finches fly back and forth from a small tree, headed up the steps and towards the door.

In all, a pretty good evening for Dino as he has great enthusiasm for seeing and doing new things. About the only issue we have is keeping him out of the kitchen sink. Decided I am going to implement the kitty jail, time out for indiscretions concerning the kitchen sink and of course he starts singing the blues as soon as he's locked up.

I'm sorry you got popped in the nose John. Seems if you're being a meanie and keeping Dino out of he sink, he'll be singing this one:)

and Atticus isn't a fan of his walking jacket yet, still doing the alligator death roll when I put it on.

No Gatoring for Dino. He did it at Sue's place when she was telling me how good he was about wearing it. She put it on him, instant paralysis and fell over like a tipped cow (not sure that really happens, but Dino is from Kentucky and may have seen it before). Since then he has been pretty flawless with it.

So sorry about the bloody nose, I'll bet that's still smarting!
It sounds like Dino is a natural outside, I hope next time you get some pics of his adventures!

John, Dino sounds like he is doing really well! he sounds like such a great boy! Pictures and videos would be nice :)

as for the kitchen sink...I don't think time outs will work to deter that...just put some lemon wedges in the drain of the sick or something similar...maybe that will help!
