Already out for 2 hours causing havoc. Now they are back in the purple room until the big move is done (truck is on its way).

They will be fine. But you do need to let them explore EVERYTHING later when the moving activity calms down. THen more they explore, the more comfortable they are.

Has he always peed outside the box? I know once it happens its almost impossible to stop. What are you doing to try and help it? Its tough to deal with Im sure

I would confine him in a bathroom or other small room when you are unable to supervise him. That sucks that you can't find any Cat Attract in your area :-(

He doesn't always pee outside of the box. Andrew agrees it is about twice a month since we learned what kind of items he likes to pee on.

Usually it seems it is because he is lazy to find the closest box.

I chased him around for the first couple hours, and then he was confined during the move, but once the doors closed we let him free.

I am so proud of Zuko. 10 hours in a new house and he is using all his litter boxes!!

Maybe I shouldn't have been so paranoid, but it is a fresh start and I will order Cat Attract the second I find an accident.

Cozy after some serious exploring! Zuko surprised all of Andrew's family as to how social he was!

My animals always know our furniture, so they settle in right at home! Especially our couch, bed and table. I think they belong to the cats and not me. XD

If it was me I would start using the Cat Attract before he has an accident - once he starts, he starts forming a habit which may then be difficult to break, why encourage it?

Its mu understanding that cats pee outside the boxes to mark territory and its not about laziness. And I agree once its starts its a hard habit to break. My friends cat has blessed every house they have been in. Always peed somewhere, and still uses the boxes but still pees elsewhere.

Sometimes it is territorial. Many times it is something else. Can be laziness, can be them trying to tell you something like they are not feeling well or there is something they're not happy with. Or they are too busy playing and then can't make it ALL the way to the nearest box.
