You have a beautiful new home! And I agree with Cary - the kitties are in new territory that (as of yet) does not belong to either of them, so now they can claim it together, or mutually agree to each claim certain areas for themselves...

It's fascinating how territory works. I wonder how they feel about the scent of the older melanistic cat that lived here.

Kristin came over (and took many photos) and laid down right in our work space. During our break from prepping we took the cats for their first walk in the backyard. They both loved it. I have a leash secured for now until we build the enclosure, where I can monitor seated as they lounge in the sun.


It wasn't just the one day!! Squee!
