KitKat is beyond cute. He's got that belly flab pouch thing, a round face and tons of facial expressions! Fiji can go from sexy to cute in a heartbeat though! She's skinny like a model, while KitKat is well.. Fat. :LOL: The love calls Fiji "an alien" and "anorexic" because she's so different and skinny compared to every cat he has ever had o.o

Fiji is seriously a hoot. Pictures courteous of the fiance. She saw him playing with KitKat below, so to keep her interested I grabbed a toy while he snapped this brilliant scene! :LOL::LOL::LOL:

Oh lord. Fiji does not know how to cover her own poop what-so-ever. KitKat **HATES** it. A few minutes after she goes, he looks at her and walks right on over to her litter and... Covers it for her! :LOL: I then of course scoop it after we've had our laugh at them. <3

Fiji turns 2 in about a week. <3 I can't believe how much she has grown since I first brought her home. <3 Her colors have darkened, she has gotten taller, more vocal.. But no longer likes cream cheese!

I have a video to upload of Fiji grooming KitKat later on. I almost got one of them laying down, facing each other. They were licking each other all over! But of course- they sensed the phone's camera being pulled up! Almost every time too.
They still have bad moments though. Well.. Fiji does. She'll go from super duper sweet to hissing as she walks past him! He looks at her wondering what in the world he did this time! lol

She doesn't like my fiance though.. He walks near her and she bolts.. She'll tolerate him if he has a wand but not much more than that. Any tips on this one? She took a couple months to get use to my father too, but she eventually tamed him and taught him how to pet her. She won't even give Gene that chance. I don't think KitKat minds this but it bothers the fiance. I would love if she could get comfortable enough to simply not run as he walks by..

Takes nothing but time fur SV's to tolerate and bond with strangers. It has to be their time schedule and their idea. Patience is the key.

Sadly, you're right. lol! Hopefully sooner than later I'll be posting about her walking past him with her back arched- demanding he pet her as she walks by!

She will come around, Stormi. Tell Gene to be patient, and keep a gentle and non threatening manner with her. It may take time, so patience. :)

Consistency is key. Tell Gene to play with her with a wand toy every day. Have him offer her treats each day as well. If she gets daily meals (as opposed to grazing on kibble all day) have Gene be the one to put out her food. It sounds like she just doesn't care for, or trust men, but she may eventually come around.

Thanks for the tips! ❤ We let them eat as they please, but if they run low while he's home I'll have him refill. She doesn't really do treats.. We're trying to find a way to get her to try wet food and the beef sticks for cats. He does love to play with her though! He's amaazed by how much she'll jump for the toys lol
Definitely agree on the not trusting men part too. We were in a Fl. hotel for a while and one of his coworkers wife came over and got to pet Fiji almost everytime. She would walk by her with her back arched for pets and everything. Husband hangs around? Nope. Under the bed!

She'll take some time, but I'm sure she'll get there ❤

find that sleeping with me SV's and my partner, was the best way to form a quick and lasting bonding. Now all me fur kids love Teri, almost as much as they love me. But yeah, it's got to be their idea, or convinced that it was!! :roflmao: Although, must say, it's taken over a year to get to this point.
