Her first vet appointment is at 3 tomorrow(a little outside the 72hr per contract, but Josie said that was fine). The only thing I have to tell the vet that worries me is she has peed in the kitty litter.. But no stools. I'm not seeing any under the bed either. Or behind the tree house. Under desk.. She is acting as sweet as can be. There is one stool in the kitty litter that could be newer, but I am not 100% certain if it is or if it was with the mix that Josie had given me to help her adjust to the new box.
Other than that, she is as healthy as can be from what I can tell. Not to mention the softest cat I have felt!

So could stress be causing her issue? I could be missing the stools, but I took a flashlight under the bed and saw nothing. She hasn't eaten a whole lot(especially compared to what Teukie ate)..

It's not uncommon for kittens to not go for a few days when coming to a new home - I think the record here so far is five days! She is adorable and seems like a total sweetheart!

That is a relief to hear! Other than the no stools, she's amazingly perfect. And trust she, she is a sweetheart! She forces my mother and I to pet her! I feel like the was the best option for me.

My love is also excited to meet her when he gets to come home in a few months. He has been fully supportive of me owning a SV and doesn't give me that "Ohmygod you really are a crazy cat lady!!" look when I tell him the prices! xD If anything he tells me "That's more than this one, but she seems better for you still". <3 And he was right on this one. Fiji and I were meant to be together. It all lined up perfectly for us.

Fiji's check up went great! The vet we had today had loved Teuks. She gave me a big hug when she saw me. ^^
They all adored Fiji to no end.
She has a little nose and eye gunk- they think the end of a respiratory infection. She also felt to she how her poop felt. She said it is formed and Fiji should be going tonight some time by the feel of it.
I'm going back in a week because of her spay stitches need snipped where its sticking out a bit. They said that it was no issue though, just to watch her.

Overall it went well :D

Great. Nice that she is doing so well. I thought the poop issue was just stress from the change in homes. She is a lovely child. ;)

As long as the site is not irritated and she is not biting or licking excessively, just keep an eye on her wound and it should be fine. I had noticed in the tree picture that her shaved belly and the incision site looked good.

BTW, it took 2 days for Rafiki to really start eating and 5 days for her first poo deposit. I probably drove my breeder insane with the frequent no-poo text messages! He was right....she finally went and all was well.

How long ago was her spay? If a week or more ago I would not worry about it. If it was more recent then keep a close eye on the incision to make sure it doesn't open up.

So has she pooped yet??? :roflmao:

Her spay was last Monday. The area looks clean and fine to me. No blood or anything ~

And yes! Earlier tonight she did! Lol Nice and firm. Nothing of ^-^
