OK, this is going to sound really stupid, but a friend of mine swears by it. (I've never tried it though.) She says rub both their noses with a little butter. That's it! LOL
I've always done the brush them both with the same brush, rub one vigorously and then rub the other vigorously and that always seemed to help some. Hope your boys settle down soon. Glad that Juba Kai is acting more like himself now.
If it works, it works!

I don't know if it'd work in this case, but my go-to trick is rubbing vanilla extract all around the nose of the cat who is offended and the cat that needs to fit in. I have used this trick to give Queen's another Queen's kitten.

And I have used vanilla like that at shows to calm down zuri...

I just gave Juba a shampoo & quick blow dry and he's confined to the toasty warm laundry until he is fully dry. I'll think I'll try a little dose of vanilla too on all three first and then butter 'em up if that doesn't work.

Thanks so much for the suggestions. My poor Taji can be a challenge at times. He was much more easy going as a kitten. Then at about 1 to 1.5 yrs of age, he simply decided to be, ummmm, different:rolleyes:

I wonder why it works...
Don't know Paige, maybe for the same reason the vanilla does. Or is there a calming effect from vanilla? I think the butter would just mask the scent and give their senses something else to pay attention to.

LMAO!! Maybe you should make some cookies while you got some of the ingredients out already. JK! Hope it works for you Deborah!

LOL. Thanks Arline. I'm already a bit hungry from all this talk of vanilla & butter. Not to mention having intermittent fits of uncontrolled giggling at the thought of buttering my SVs. This is starting to sound a bit like that "breading your savannah" discussion that happened on the yahoo list awhile ago.

OMG, I almost spit out my cherries. I remember that discussion, I was crying reading that one. :)
