That is a possibility, Paige! We'll see what happens. We're going to do what's best for Tisa at the end of the day. I'm just so happy she's actually an F1 kinda lap cat, especially given the circumstances.

Thanks DocMac!

Tisa came out of her solitary confinement room today for the first time. My mom locked the other cats in the basement, and let her roam around for about 40 minutes. Apparently, she jumped up to the other cats' food and ate it, LOL... she is turning into quite the fatty!

She was very interested in the new surroundings, of course, but ended up laying on the couch in the dog bed and taking a nap. Getting her back into her room was a bit of a goat rope, but she did go willingly. She's really adapting, I think.

Tisa update:

My sister and her 2 kids have to temporarily stay at my mom's house, so Tisa was "released into the wild" to give them somewhere to sleep, so she's out and about. She hates my mom's female cat and bullies her (she has taken over her bed, won't let her come downstairs, etc), but otherwise is doing great--in fact, this morning, she jumped up on the table and let my sister pet her head, chin, back, everywhere!

Hopefully your Mom's cat will not continue to be bullied, which is not fair to her...but it all sounds very promising ;)
